You can rent a 7-seater car in Dubai from AED 180 a day with Next Ride. Our seven-seat family car is the Kia Carens 2025, which starts from AED 1,050 a week or AED 3,500 a month, comes with comprehensive insurance and a Salik tag, and is delivered free anywhere in Dubai, including both airports. Send us your dates on WhatsApp and we will confirm the price before you book.
Why families choose a 7-seater in Dubai
Dubai is spread out. A day at the beach, an afternoon at a mall and dinner across town can easily mean three long taxi rides, and with grandparents or three children in tow you often need two taxis at a time. One seven-seat car keeps everyone together, carries the pushchair and beach bags, and lets you leave when the children are tired rather than when a ride turns up.
- Everyone in one car: parents, children and grandparents, or two couples travelling together
- One driver, one bill: no need to coordinate two cars or split taxi fares
- Room for day trips: a full car to Hatta, Abu Dhabi or the east coast without squeezing in
- Free delivery to your hotel, villa, apartment or the airport
Kia Carens rental prices
The Kia Carens 2025 is the only seven-seat model in our standard fleet, and its prices drop the longer you keep it:
| Rental length | Kia Carens 2025 (starting) | Works out per day |
|---|---|---|
| Daily | AED 180 | AED 180 |
| Weekly | AED 1,050 | about AED 150 |
| Monthly | AED 3,500 | about AED 117 |
That is the same pattern as the rest of our fleet: a weekly rental saves up to 17% compared with the daily rate, and a monthly rental saves up to 45% across the fleet. Here is the full rate card, so you can compare the Carens with our five-seat cars:
| Car | Type | Daily (starting) | Weekly (starting) | Monthly (starting) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Suzuki Baleno 2025 | Economy hatchback, 5 seats | AED 100 | AED 595 (AED 85/day) | AED 1,650 (AED 55/day) |
| Hyundai Creta | Compact SUV, 5 seats | AED 120 | AED 700 (AED 100/day) | AED 2,700 (AED 90/day) |
| Hyundai Elantra 2025 | Sedan, 5 seats | AED 140 | AED 830 (AED 118/day) | AED 2,900 (AED 96/day) |
| Exeed LX 2026 | Premium crossover, 5 seats | AED 150 | AED 999 (AED 142/day) | AED 2,910 (AED 97/day) |
| Kia Carens 2025 | 7-seat MPV | AED 180 | AED 1,050 (AED 150/day) | AED 3,500 (AED 116/day) |
Luxury and premium cars are available on request through our partners. Our current Winter Saver offer gives 15% off economy cars booked weekly or monthly until December 2026; see our special offers for the terms.
Kia Carens specifications
The Carens is a compact MPV: about the length of a family saloon, but taller, with three rows of seats. These are the figures published for the UAE model by DriveArabia and ZigWheels UAE:
| Specification | Kia Carens (UAE model) |
|---|---|
| Seats | 7, in three rows |
| Engine | 1.5 litre petrol, 115 hp |
| Gearbox | Automatic (CVT) |
| Drive | Front-wheel drive |
| Length | 4,550 mm |
| Wheelbase | 2,780 mm |
| Fuel tank | 45 litres |
| Claimed fuel use | 6.4 litres per 100 km |
In everyday terms, that means a car that is easy to park in mall car parks and hotel driveways, light on fuel for its size, and comfortable at motorway speeds on Sheikh Zayed Road or the drive to Abu Dhabi. It is a family car rather than an off-roader, so it suits city driving, motorways and mountain roads like the one to Hatta, but not sand.
Is a 7-seater right for you?
Seven seats is not always the cheapest or most comfortable answer. Here is how the Carens compares with renting two of our five-seat cars, using starting prices:
| Option | Daily | Weekly | Monthly | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One Kia Carens 2025 | AED 180 | AED 1,050 | AED 3,500 | One driver, a group that travels together |
| Two Suzuki Baleno 2025 | AED 200 | AED 1,190 | AED 3,300 | Two drivers who want to split up during the day |
| One Hyundai Creta | AED 120 | AED 700 | AED 2,700 | Families of up to five with lots of luggage |
A few rules of thumb:
- Five people or fewer: a five-seat SUV such as the Hyundai Creta is cheaper and gives you a bigger boot for the same number of people
- Six or seven people who travel together: the Carens costs less than two cars for daily and weekly rentals, and only one person has to drive
- Two groups doing different things, or a stay of a month or more: two economy cars can work out similar in price or cheaper, especially while the Winter Saver applies to economy weekly and monthly bookings
- Seven adults with big suitcases: think about luggage first (see below), or ask us about a larger vehicle on request
Luggage, child seats and comfort
Luggage with all seven seats in use
Like most compact MPVs, the Carens has a much smaller boot when the third row is up. With seven people on board, plan for soft bags and a folded pushchair rather than seven large suitcases. For an airport run with a full family and full-size cases, fold the third row and send part of the group or the luggage separately, or tell us your group size and bag count so we can suggest the best option.
Child seats
If you are travelling with babies or young children, ask us about child seats when you book, and tell us the ages of the children so we can check what is available. Children are safest in a properly fitted seat suited to their age and size.
Third row comfort
The third row is best for children and shorter adults on city trips. On a long drive, put the tallest passengers in the first and second rows and swap round at a fuel stop.
Family trips that suit a 7-seater
With everyone in one car, longer trips become easy. Our guide to day trips from Dubai by car covers routes such as Hatta, Abu Dhabi and the east coast. You can drive your Next Ride car in all seven emirates, but it cannot be taken out of the UAE. If you are only here for a few days, our weekend car rental guide explains how to get the most out of a Friday to Sunday hire.
Arriving with the whole family? We can meet you at Dubai International Airport (DXB) with the car ready, so you skip the taxi queue with tired children and a trolley full of bags.
