  • Daily, weekly and monthly rates, so the same car works for a short stay or a long project
  • Booking on WhatsApp, with a confirmed quote before you commit
  • Corporate billing with VAT invoices for companies based in Business Bay, DIFC and Trade Centre

Driving on Sheikh Zayed Road: what to know

Sheikh Zayed Road (E11) is Dubai’s main artery and runs right past Business Bay. It is fast and well signposted, but a few things are worth knowing before you drive it.

Salik toll gates near Business Bay

Every Next Ride car has a Salik tag fitted, and tolls are billed at the end of your rental based on actual use. The gates you are most likely to pass from Business Bay are Al Safa North and Al Safa South on Sheikh Zayed Road, Business Bay Crossing on Al Khail Road, and Al Barsha further along Sheikh Zayed Road towards Dubai Marina.

Avoiding the worst of the traffic

  • Weekday rush hours on Sheikh Zayed Road broadly match the Salik peak times, so travelling outside them saves both time and tolls
  • Al Khail Road runs parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road and is often quicker for trips towards Al Quoz and Dubai Hills
  • Exits come up quickly at speed, so set your navigation before you join and stay in the right lane early
  • Speed cameras are frequent; follow the posted limits rather than the flow of traffic

Parking in Business Bay and Downtown

Most towers, hotels and malls have their own car parks, and street parking is paid through the RTA by app, SMS or meter. Check the zone signs before you leave the car, as fines are charged to the renter after the rental.
